The Excellence in Disability Inclusion Award recognizes the work done by federal contractors that have gone above and beyond to recruit, hire, retain, and promote individuals with disabilities.

Up to two large and two small federal contractor establishments will be recognized with the Excellence in Disability Inclusion Gold Award. In addition, up to 20 additional federal contractors will be recognized as Pacesetters (honorable mentions).

Gold Award winners will be required to participate in a post-award “Year of Engagement” including presenting at relevant conferences and developing tools and educational materials. Pacesetter Award winners will also be invited to participate.

In addition to being recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor, Gold Award recipients will also receive a three-year moratorium for OFCCP compliance evaluations.

Applications are now being accepted. Interested federal contractors must submit their complete nomination package by Saturday, August 31, 2019.
