Tomorrow we’re celebrating Equal Pay Day! On Equal Pay Day, OFCCP is reminded of the importance of pay parity and our commitment to equal employment compliance assistance.

Here are a couple of things you should know about equal pay and your rights under the law:

Gender-based discrimination in the rates of pay and other forms of compensation is prohibited under Executive Order 11246.

Individuals are entitled under federal law to report instances of alleged sex-based discrimination, and are protected against retaliatory behavior.
